Past Due.

It only took 1.5 years buuuut our blog is up and walking. Oh the stories I have to tell about how we met, dating life, how Kody proposed, and life since we sealed to deal. Hang in there. I'm having blogger ADD in order to both catch up on history while staying caught up on the present. Moral of this story: DON'T PROCRASTINATE.  For now the Cliff notes version.

Kody and I have been married one wild ride of one year and six months. Basically pro status over here. I love being married to Kody, my Mr. Right from his little toe to the tip of his hair. There is some controversy as to the actually day we met, I say it was at my roommates birthday dinner, he says it was at my apartment a few days before the dinner, he claims I was wearing glasses, but if that's true, why did he come back for more?! I scare myself with those things on. Who knows who's right. Actually, I do, its me. I'm always right. Marriage perk numero uno. Back to the story. His apartment was friends with my roommate and so over the next few months we would see each other in passing when I'd go over, or we would see each other at church. Contact for a while was minimal. Then at some unknown point in time, things went from friends, to friendlier. Whether it was the magic of snap chat, the drinks from sonic, or just the time we spent together, I started to like him, like really like him, and I, kind of sort of thought he returned the emotion. But like, why wasn't he asking me out? (This is actually a funny story so watch for it.) Finally after what felt like FOREVER, he asked me if I wanted to go out to a movie, to which my response was totes-my-goats. Major palm to the face. Nice, Chels. Really smooth. That's not even the right phase/what does it even mean? We went, we saw, we conquered. After the first date, things moved quickly. We were dating, we went on many different adventures, laughed, cried, had some drama, and then after getting a confirmation that this was the real deal, Kody proposed; I'm excited to write that post, it's basically my favorite story. Our engagement was itty-bitty, 2 months itty-bitty. All of this led to our sealing on November 19, 2015 in the Payson, UT  LDS temple. My all time favorite day, and everyday I am more grateful for the choice I made in my eternal companion. Since that time, we have lived-in and moved out of our first apartment, I finished a degree in Political Science, I was accepted into Law School, Kody was accepted to Utah State University, we traveled, visited most of the west coast, visited our missions, acted as rodeo groupies, saw our first PBR, found out we were expecting our first child, relied on each other through a miscarriage, had all of our first holidays, finished more than one series on Netflix, burnt a few meals, shrunk some clothes, laughed, A LOT, bought our first truck, changed jobs, moved to Brigham City, UT, spoke in sacrament meeting, received a calling, ate at least 100 pizzas, and we fall more in love everyday.

For now we are happy, healthy, and living our life the best way we know how, one day at a time.

Sincerely,
The Suter's
